The perfect modern update for your VL Commodore project.
Upgrade your original or basic single din head unit into the 21st century with this facia panel custom made for VL Commodore.
This is a fibreglass product that is supplied in a painted black finish.
Please note these are a smooth finish and not available in the textured finish as per the factory dash panel.
These are supplied as a kit for you to attach to your existing plastic dash trim. Instructions and supplies to attach the product are supplied as part of the kit.
Modification (cutting) of the original plastic dash parts is required by the "installer"
These are designed to be fitted into vehicles that no longer run the original heater box and control panel HOWEVER will still fit with a slim chassis head-unit if hem heater is still in place. There are no previsions for the original heater controls at this time.
For vehicles that still require a heater or demister it is recommended to upgrade to a 12v electrical setup.
Development of a panel that will keep the factory heater A/C setup is due in 2024.
